How to turn a receipt, statement screenshot, or transaction image into reviewed transactions in Nethaven.
Use scanning when you have a receipt, a bank screenshot, or a statement image that should become one or more transactions. Nethaven reads the visible merchant, date, amount, and transaction details, then asks you to review the result before saving anything.
Images work best when the date, merchant, and total are visible and not cropped. If a receipt contains multiple purchases, review each extracted row before importing so categories and amounts match what actually happened.
Scanning is a shortcut, not a replacement for review. Confirm the account, category, transaction type, and whether the row is a transfer, fee, interest payment, or normal expense before it reaches reports.
