How do I export from Actual?
Export Actual transactions as CSV. If you want budget history too, include the matching budget CSV with month, category, budgeted, activity, and available columns.

Importing Actual to Nethaven brings over transactions, account names, payees, categories, notes, and optional budget month history when you include a matching budget CSV. It does not recreate Actual schedules, rules, reports, sync settings, or loan payoff details. Review account balances and budget rows before confirming.

How do I upload it to Nethaven?
Create or sign in to Nethaven with Actual selected, then upload the export in the import wizard.

What should I review before importing?
Check transaction counts, budget month counts, account balances, category names, and warnings before confirming.
What transfers from Actual to Nethaven?
The Actual importer reads the transaction CSV and imports accounts from the account column, transactions, payees, categories, and notes. If your upload also contains a supported budget CSV, Nethaven imports monthly budget rows so historical category planning can stay visible.
What does not transfer from Actual?
Nethaven does not recreate Actual schedules, rules, reports, custom views, sync setup, or loan payoff details. Transfers are inferred from same-day opposite-sign amounts when the export does not mark them clearly, so review the preview before committing.
How do I avoid common Actual import failures?
Wrong file uploaded
Upload the Actual transaction CSV, and include the budget CSV only if it has the expected budget columns.
Budget rows are missing
Budget history imports only when the upload includes a supported budget CSV. A transaction-only export cannot recreate monthly budget allocations.
Decimal-comma export
If your locale uses comma decimals, upload the original export when possible. Spreadsheet software can rewrite separators and amounts.
