In YNAB, open your budget, use Budget, Export budget, and keep the downloaded .zip unchanged.

Export your YNAB budget, upload the original file, review the preview, then import only when the balances and budget history look right. How do I upload it to Nethaven?
Create or sign in to Nethaven with YNAB selected, then upload the original export file in the import wizard.

Check counts, balance warnings, and budget reconciliation. Nothing is imported until you confirm.
What transfers from YNAB to Nethaven?
The YNAB importer is built for the history that makes switching practical: accounts, categories, transactions, and full monthly budget allocation history. That means old budget months remain visible instead of flattening into today's category amounts. The preview shows how much was found before the import is committed.
What does not transfer from YNAB?
Nethaven does not import YNAB targets, goals, scheduled transactions, or loan payoff details. Loan accounts can transfer as accounts, but payoff tracking needs originalAmount and startDate. The YNAB export does not supply those fields, so Nethaven asks you to add payoff details instead of inventing them.
How do I avoid the common YNAB import failures?
Wrong file uploaded
Upload the original YNAB Budget export .zip. A bank CSV, report export, or rewritten spreadsheet can miss the fields the importer expects.
Decimal-comma export
If your locale uses comma decimals, avoid opening and resaving the CSV before upload. Spreadsheet apps can change separators and make numbers ambiguous.
Balances do not match
Read the preview warnings before confirming. Missing opening-balance context or ambiguous transfers should be resolved before committing the import.
